RAID: World War II Wiki

In RAID: World War II, raiders can come across precious items that they can pickup or extract in order to get rich.

Overview[ | ]

Loot (or greed in the game files) is an in-game mechanic which rewards players with gold currency once they have collected 1000 points worth of loot.

Loot value can be increased by the Midas Touch boost. For the moment, Midas Touch does not affect outlaws raids and loot obtained from pickpocketing enemies. Do note however, that players that have this respective boost must pickup/secure items for all players to get an increased payout. Players that do not have the boost will not give any bonuses whatsoever, neither to those who are using Midas Touch.

Caches[ | ]

Cache

a closed cache

Caches or loot crates are interactive objects that have a moderate chance (25%) to spawn in missions. Whenever a player spots one they can try to open them via lockpicking. Successfully opening them will allow players to claim their loot.

Each interaction awards 400 points of loot and takes 0.6s. Caches can be interacted up to 10 times before going dry.

Opencache

an open cache

Lockpicking caches always have 3 wheels and they move incredibly fast, requiring great precision and timing.

Depending on difficulty, caches have the following multipliers to spawn;

  • Easy = 0.0 (0% chance)
  • Normal = 1 (25% chance)
  • Hard = 1.35 (33.75% chance)
  • Very Hard = 1.5 (37.5% chance)

Note: Caches can only spawn on certain acts in operations.

Notes[ | ]

  • Carryable items value depends on two factors: Mission and Outlaw value. For example; a gold crate has a loot value of 1500 on missions, which is then multiplied by difficulty upon securing. On outlaw raids however, they are worth thrice (x3.0) times more than a gold bar (2 gold) which is then multiplied by difficulty. The total gold bars rewarded upon completion are rounded down.

Trivia[ | ]

  • Nothing is ever enough.
